The State Government has released details of its Regional Arts Development Fund grants for 2016-17, with the South Burnett targeted to get $9000.<\/p>\n

This compares with $76,000 for the North Burnett Regional Council, $48,000 for Toowoomba, $24,000 for Somerset and $21,482 for Western Downs, all adjoining local government areas.<\/p>\n

The council which will receive the most generous funding is the Sunshine Coast, with $110,000.<\/p>\n

In comparison, only the outback councils of Bulloo ($1000), Burke ($5000) and Richmond ($8000) will receive less than the South Burnett.<\/p>\n

This financial year’s RADF allocations were announced on Thursday by Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk.<\/p>\n
