The South Burnett Regional Council will begin widening a stretch of Kumbia Brooklands Road on Monday (September 12).<\/p>\n

The project will create a two-lane sealed surface from the Stuart River Bridge at Alice Creek for 1.2km towards Kumbia.<\/p>\n

Construction work will include clearing, earthworks, drainage, gravel pavement, bitumen sealing, line marking and signage.<\/p>\n

It is expected the work will be completed by December.<\/p>\n

During construction, traffic will still be able to travel along this section, but motorists may encounter minor delays.<\/p>\n

Local residents with concerns during the construction period have been asked to contact the onsite supervisor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
