R U supporting RU OK? Day on Thursday?<\/p>\n

Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington is urging local residents to support local events which aim to start a conversation that just might save a life.<\/p>\n

The South Burnett Suicide Prevention Working Group has organised RU OK? breakfasts in Kingaroy, in the Town Hall Forecourt, and at Nanango IGA from 8:00am.<\/p>\n

There will be people available to have a chat with, as well as helpful literature.<\/p>\n

Most importantly, everyone is invited to attend, whether they are struggling with a mental health issue themselves, know someone who is, or just would like to enjoy a free breakfast,<\/p>\n

Mrs Frecklington said the event was an important day in the South Burnett calendar and she was looking forward to attending \u00a0the Kingaroy event.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been a long term supporter and advocate for RU OK? day which is all about starting a conversation that may ultimately make a difference in someone\u2019s life,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope as many people around the South Burnett as possible take the time to ask someone if they are \u2018okay\u2019.<\/p>\n
