The Cherbourg-Murgon Reconnect program will receive $208,060 in federal funding for 2012-13.<\/p>\n

Federal Member for Wide Bay Warren Truss said the funding would supports early intervention to help young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and their families. <\/p>\n

Reconnect also builds community capacity to address youth homelessness. <\/p>\n

“This funding assists the efforts and the effectiveness of the Cherbourg-Murgon Reconnect service and the people who deliver the program, providing support services for young people and their families,” Mr Truss said.<\/p>\n

“The program helps to reconnect young people at risk with community, employment and social services to give them a better future.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
