Brothers Gavin and Tony Cisneros – better known as Mr Q – will be performing in a free five-hour concert at this year’s Bloomin’ Beautiful Blackbutt Avocado Festival on Saturday, September 10<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

South Burnett musician Tony Cisneros is starting to get excited. And not just about avocados.<\/p>\n

Tony – better known as half of the popular Mr Q duo to his many fans – will be performing in concert at this year’s Bloomin’ Beautiful Blackbutt Avocado Festival along with his brother Gavin.<\/p>\n

The pair will be appearing alongside Nanango duo Ausphonic and Blackbutt country music talent Amanda Sempf in a five-hour “Live And Local” concert being held in Les Muller Park on Saturday, September 10.<\/p>\n

The concert is one of the big features of the Avocado Festival’s weekend program of events, and has been sponsored by Meandu Mine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Guests only need to bring a picnic rug,” Avocado Festival spokesperson Melanie Doheny said.<\/p>\n

“Stall holders in the park will be happy to supply food and refreshments while you sit back, relax and take in the music.<\/p>\n

“Live And Local is completely free, and we think it’s going to be very popular.”<\/p>\n

The music from the park will blanket Blackbutt’s main street for most of Saturday, helping to bring a happy and lively atmosphere to the town.<\/p>\n

Amanda Sempf will take the stage from 10:00am to 11:30am, followed by Mr Q until 1:00pm.<\/p>\n

After this, the concert will take a 30-minute break so Festival-goers can enjoy the Giant Street Parade.<\/p>\n

Then Ausphonic will round out the afternoon until 3:00pm.<\/p>\n
