The Green Frog troop has working hard at the Durong Community Hall\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

November 7, 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Durong Green Frog Guides have completed a local community service project at the Durong Community Hall on Wondai-Chinchilla Road.<\/p>\n

The six Girl Guides and their two leaders have painted games on the paving at the back of the hall,\u00a0where they have their weekly Girl Guide meetings.<\/p>\n

The games include snakes and ladders, hopscotch, noughts and crosses, and twister.<\/p>\n

Local residents say the paving now looks fantastic.<\/p>\n

The games can be used by the Girl Guides, a local playgroup, craft group, school children and passing traffic that stops to use the facilities.<\/p>\n

A spokeswoman said the Durong Girl Guides take pride in performing community service whenever possible and this reinforces the Guide Promise and Law<\/a><\/strong> that they are taught.<\/p>\n
