Several South Burnett junior cricketers have been selected to undergo further training as part of the Queensland Rookie Program run by Queensland cricket.<\/p>\n

The program is a statewide project which aims to extend and stretch the skills development of players.<\/p>\n

The young male and female cricketers were selected by Queensland Cricket talent spotters and will get access to individual coaching and mentoring.<\/p>\n

South Burnett cricketers selected include players from Murgon, Kingaroy and Nanango.<\/p>\n

Selected in the 26-strong Female South Queensland Silver Rookie Squad are Taylah Kidman, Kate Ferling, Courtney Sippel, Renee Irvine and Kathryn Kidman.<\/p>\n
