The Netball Preliminary Finals were played in Nanango on Friday evening, with six players travelling back especially from a school camp to take part.<\/p>\n

In the Juniors grade, Purple Lightning (Nanango) defeated Sassy Sisters (Nanango).<\/p>\n

Purple Lightning will now play the undefeated Dynamites (Kingaroy) in the Junior Grand Final.<\/p>\n

In Cadets grade, Team Sassy (Nanango) defeated Cheetahs (Kingaroy) in a fierce and hard-fought match.<\/p>\n

Nanango Netball Club president Sheena Lindholm said it was an extremely well-played netball game, which saw skill and talent shine through.<\/p>\n

At quarter time, the teams were level with Team Sassy ahead by just five goals at half-time.<\/p>\n

Cheetahs fought back in the third quarter to take the lead by a nail-biting one point but, with a loud home crowd behind them, Team Sassy won through in the last quarter to claim their Grand Final spot.<\/p>\n

          • 7:30pm<\/strong> – Presentation of Cadet Grand Final trophy presentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
