This week she deserves another mention in despatches.<\/p>\n<p>Aymee, who now plays for the Kingaroy Bowls Club, has just been selected for Queensland&#8217;s Under 25 side.<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;ll be flying to Sydney with her other seven team-mates next month to represent the Sunshine State at Cabramatta.<\/p>\n<p>Aymee is the sole Burnett District player on the team.<\/p>\n<p>She was in Kingaroy this week to take part in President Di Reed&#8217;s day, no doubt keeping up with her practice as she prepares for the competition.<\/p>\n<p>The club naturally hope for great things from this dynamic young lawn bowler.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2><strong>Nanango News<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Last Saturday was self-selected Triples, with scoring two for an end and five for a win over two games of 12 ends. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bob Hammond, Delvin Powys and Warren Arthurs &#8211; But if there&#8217;s still a tie, the highest score in the second game will win the guernsey.<\/p>\n<p>Green fees are $15, and afternoon tea will be provided after it&#8217;s all over.<\/p>\n<p>More information? One team lost and one team won but Kilcoy came out overall winners by a single shot.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kilcoy players will travel to Bongaree for the return match on Friday, August 12.<\/p>\n<p>In Men&#8217;s Pennants, Kilcoy played Bribie Island at home with both teams winning their games.<\/p>\n<p>In the Star of the Green competition, Jeff Welden defeated Noel Lanes 7-2 and will now play John Worrall next Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The jackpot still did not go off, so it will stand at $228 next Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, in Tuesday&#8217;s social bowls, the winners for the day were Michael Dunn, Ian Smith, Graham Derryman and Garry Jensen who defeated Tony Gray, Horst Myer, Ernie Herbert and Jan Biddle 25-21.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other results:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bill Edwards, John Worrall and Lex Biddle def.
