There’s no doubt the South Burnett owes our SES volunteers a “Truck Load Of Thanks” in the wake of last year’s floods, and here’s an opportunity for residents to come along and say it.<\/p>\n

The “Truck Load Of Thanks” tour will be moving through the region from November 12 to 16 as part of SES Week.<\/p>\n

Every morning between 7:30am and 9:30am, SES volunteers will be in South Burnett towns from Murgon to Blackbutt to hold free community sausage sizzles, hand out Disaster Ready kits and run free information sessions.<\/p>\n

Local radio station CROW-FM 90.7 will be running outside broadcasts of their Brreakfast Show at the tour’s pit stops all week so the public can thank SES brigades on air.<\/p>\n

The tour will get underway at the Murgon Visitor Information Centre in Lamb Street on Monday morning, November 12, and progress to Wondai, Kingaroy, Nanango and Blackbutt over the next four mornings.<\/p>\n
