Christmas came a little bit earlier at SBcare in Kingaroy on Saturday night, with Kingaroy Rotary Club celebrating “Christmas In July” to help raise funds for the Kingaroy Girl Guides.<\/p>\n

Traditional Yuletide fare was prepared by club president Wayne Bushell with helpers from Rotary.<\/p>\n

The 60 or so diners were waited on by Girl Guides, also decked out in festive gear.<\/p>\n

The smorgasbord dinner included cream of chicken soup, pumpkin soup, roast pork, baked ham, tarragon chicken, sticky date pudding and trifle.<\/p>\n

Money raised from the tickets sold and raffles on the night will help the Kingaroy Girl Guides repair the kitchen at their Guide Hut.<\/p>\n
