Drug detection dogs from Brisbane were deployed by police during a search of a house in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy, on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, said a search warrant was executed as part of a co-ordinated and continuing effort to police drug crime in Kingaroy and the South Burnett.<\/p>\n

He said police were specifically targeting people who were using drugs or bringing drugs into the region.<\/p>\n

“Police rely on information from the community. Anyone with information about drugs in the community can contact police via Crime Stoppers (1800-333-000) or local police on (07) 4160-4900,” Snr Sgt Frank said.<\/p>\n

Snr Sgt Frank said no charges had been laid at this stage as a result of Thursday morning’s search.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
