Yallakool Tourist Park recently played host to the lucky winner of the Wide Bay-Burnett Regional Organisation of Councils (WBBROC) holiday promotion.<\/p>\n

WBBROC, which represents the South Burnett, Cherbourg, Gympie, North Burnett, Fraser Coast and Bundaberg Regional Councils, offered a $4000, 10 night Regional Trail holiday to encourage visitors to explore the Wide Bay-Burnett area, and go into a draw to win the holiday package when they did so.<\/p>\n

To enter the competition, visitors needed to download a competition app onto their iPhone or Android, which then directed them to businesses participating in the promotion.<\/p>\n

Whenever they visited any of these places, entrants could scan a QR code to register their visit.<\/p>\n

And once they\u2019d scanned three QR codes, they could submit their entry in the competition via the app.<\/p>\n

The competition was only open to people whose principal place of residence was outside the Wide-Bay Burnett, and it ran from July 6 to October 30.<\/p>\n

The competition was won by Narelle Walker, and she elected the spend the first two nights of her holiday in the South Burnett enjoying the facilities at Yallakool.<\/p>\n
