Stig Wemyss – not be confused with the popular character Stig from the British motoring show Top Gear – paid a flying visit to Kingaroy on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Stig, a trained actor and comic, also happens to be one of Australia’s most popular narrators of audio books for children and young adults.<\/p>\n

He was a guest of the South Burnett’s libraries, who organise regular talks from local and visiting authors, as well as others involved in the book publishing industry.<\/p>\n

Stig travelled to the region to hold two shows at Kingaroy Town Hall which were open to school children from throughout the region.<\/p>\n

The aim of the shows was to reinforce to them how much fun reading and listening to books can be.<\/p>\n

Stig was brought to the South Burnett by Bolinda Digital, who supply a large range of audio books and e-books to the region’s libraries.<\/p>\n
