The Town Common Hall was filled with volunteers from the South Burnett Regional Council’s visitor information centres and other establishments<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

June 9, 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n

The South Burnett Regional Council’s team of volunteers – who help to keep the region’s Visitor Information Centres, art galleries and libraries ticking over – attended a special information forum at the Kingaroy Town Common Hall on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Volunteer service awards were presented in the morning and then guest speakers from Kingsley Grove Estate Wines, the Peanut Company of Australia and Boondooma Homestead took to the floor.<\/p>\n

Information about the new Wellcamp Airport, near Toowoomba, was also presented.<\/p>\n

The volunteers learned more about the various flight options from the airport: to Sydney, Melbourne and outback and north Queensland.<\/p>\n

After lunch, South Burnett mayor Keith Campbell spoke briefly.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, there were more guest speakers … this time from Bunya Red Caper Farm and Ringsfield House.<\/p>\n
