Seven South Burnett vets have signed up so far for this year’s “Operation Wanted” RSPCA desexing campaign.<\/p>\n

It’s an opportunity for pet owners to save money and go into the draw to win a Harley Davidson motorbike, just like a Kingaroy resident did during last year’s campaign.<\/p>\n

The woman had her five-year-old Rottweiler desexed at the Barambah Veterinary Surgery in Kingaroy, and won a Harley Davidson Forty-Eight 2015 XL1200X \u201948, valued at $20,000!<\/p>\n

The three-month Queensland-wide “Operation Wanted” campaign is being organised by the RSPCA in co-operation with local councils.<\/p>\n

Vets involved are offering at least a 20 per cent discount on desexing charges for three months from June 1.<\/p>\n

The RSPCA hopes an extra 30,000 animals will be desexed across Queensland because of the promotion \u2013 which will save millions of animals\u2019 lives down the line.<\/p>\n

This is the third year the South Burnett Regional Council has been involved in Operation Wanted.<\/p>\n

The South Burnett was one of the original nine regions to take part in the campaign; this year, 26 Queensland council areas are involved.<\/p>\n

Prizes available to be won this year are: A Harley Davidson 2016 FLSTF Fat Boy, a pet-friendly seven-day beach holiday, a $500 RSPCA World for Pets Superstore voucher, and 26 x $200 vet vouchers (1 per region)<\/p>\n
