Firefighters called to a blaze at Speedwell today protected eight farm buildings from flames.<\/p>\n

An Emergency Services spokesman said 14 fire crews stopped the fire from spreading to an adjoining 320ha hardwood plantation.<\/p>\n

The fire burned 200ha of grassland before it was contained.<\/p>\n

It is currently burning within containment lines.<\/p>\n

Crews are expected to remain on the scene until late tonight to monitor the situation.<\/p>\n
