The Darling Downs and West Moreton Primary Health Network (DDWMPHN) is seeking expressions of interest from people interested in becoming a Community Advisory Committee member.<\/p>\n

The Public Health Network – the federally funded successor to the former Medicare Local network – is also looking for an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representative for the Darling Downs Clinical Council.<\/p>\n

The Darling Downs Community Advisory Committee is being established to provide a on community-related perspective to the DDWMPHN Board.<\/p>\n

The committee will be responsible for assisting with the development of strategies to improve the operation of the health care system in the health network region.<\/p>\n

The Darling Downs Clinical Council is a sub-committee of the DDWMPHN Board. Its aims and objectives are similar to the Community Advisory Committee.<\/p>\n

The Darling Downs West Moreton PHN is a jointly operated by the Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service and GP Connections who won a Federal Government tender to oversee the local network, which includes all the South Burnett.<\/p>\n
