It’s not often that a new kitchen gets officially launched … much less on Mother’s Day.<\/p>\n

But after several months work, Nanango’s Ringsfield House at 45 Alfred Street finally has a new kitchen.<\/p>\n

“We’re very glad this project is finally finished,” Ringsfield volunteer Clive Lowe said.<\/p>\n

“Our old kitchen was serviceable, but it limited what our cooks could do.<\/p>\n

“But this flash new kitchen will allow us to offer a lot more.”<\/p>\n

This Sunday, May 8 Ringsfield will be officially celebrating their new kitchen with Mothers Day Breakfast between 9:00am and 11:00am, followed by a Mothers Day Lunch from noon to 2:00pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The breakfast will allow guests to choose whatever they like from Ringsfield’s new Sunday breakfast menu.<\/p>\n

The lunch, by contrast, will offer adults a choice of South Burnett slow roasted beef with roast vegetables and seasonal greens, or a crispy skin Atlantic salmon served with cauliflower and sweet potato mash, seasonal greens and hollandaise or Ringsfield Salmon Sauce<\/p>\n

For dessert, they can choose between homemade cheesecakes or apple crumble with ice-cream and\/or cream.<\/p>\n

Wolff barista coffee or pots of leaf tea will also be available.<\/p>\n

Children aged 12 or below, meanwhile, can enjoy homemade lasagne with Ringsfield potato, followed by a dessert of ice-cream with a choice of topping, and a glass of soft drink or fruit juice.<\/p>\n

Bookings for the breakfast aren’t essential (but are always appreciated) and the cost is whatever guests choose from the menu.<\/p>\n

Tickets to the Mothers Day Lunch are $25 for adults or $15 for children, and bookings for this really are essential because Sunday will be a popular time to treat mums to lunch.<\/p>\n
