South Burnett punters looking for an omen bet in future may like to put their hard-earned on a Chris Munce-trained colt that is currently being put through its paces at Eagle Farm.<\/p>\n

Investors are being invited to form a syndicate to race the youngster, called “Kingaroy”.<\/p>\n

“Kingaroy’ was purchased at the Magic Millions Yearling sale in March last year and will be eligible for QTIS bonus prize money.<\/p>\n

A 5 per cent share could be had for $175 a month … peanuts to some people!<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Kingaroy”, as its name implies, has excellent breeding.<\/p>\n

Its sire is Rothesay, which carries both Bletchingly and Danzig bloodlines.<\/p>\n

But why the name “Kingaroy”?<\/p>\n

It’s out of “Bethany” … he he.<\/p>\n
