Hyundai has arrived in the South Burnett with the official launch of the brand by Huston Hyundai on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n

Members of the Murgon Business and Development Association mingled with Huston employees and guests and had the opportunity to inspect the range of vehicles.<\/p>\n

Dealer principal Mark Huston said this was the first time the Korean marque had been offered at a local car dealership.<\/p>\n

Huston Motors have turned their Murgon showroom completely over to Hyundai.<\/p>\n

Staff have undergone Hyundai training and Hyundai test equipment has been installed in the service bays so owners can have their vehicles serviced locally.<\/p>\n

Mark said this would provide a boost for Murgon businesses as previously Hyundai owners in the South Burnett had to travel to Toowoomba, Gympie or Brisbane if they wanted to have their vehicles serviced at a dealership.<\/p>\n

Huston Hyundai will stock both Hyundai passenger cars and light commercials, including the iMax people mover and the iLoad van.<\/p>\n

Mark said the Hyundai range complemented Huston Motors’ other offerings at its Kingaroy dealership.<\/p>\n

Huston Motors began in Wondai in 1935. It opened a branch in Murgon in 1979, and its new premises in the town in 2002.<\/p>\n

The company opened a branch in Kingaroy in 1989 and shifted out to its current site on Rogers Drive in 1996.<\/p>\n

Mark said Huston Hyundai would be hosting an open day for the public at the Murgon dealership on Wednesday (April 27) from 8:00am to 5:00pm.<\/p>\n

There’ll be a free sausage sizzle lunch, face-painting for the children plus soft drinks, tea and coffee.<\/p>\n

Radio station 4SB 1071AM will be doing an outside broadcast from the site.<\/p>\n
