Two women have been sentenced to nine months jail – and then immediately paroled – when they appeared in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Monday charged over the theft of cash from a Kingaroy business at the weekend.<\/p>\n

Louise Burgess, 42, from Kingaroy, and Nikki Barratt-Coates, 20, from Nanango, pleaded guilty to entering premises and stealing.<\/p>\n

Police alleged the pair stole cashbox from Cardio Central in Pound Street, Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

The pair were arrested on Sunday after police viewed CCTV footage from the premises.<\/p>\n

Burgess also pleaded guilty to two more charges of unlawful entry and one count of wilful damage.<\/p>\n

She was sentenced to another seven months in prison, to be served concurrently, and released on parole.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
