Paul Spinks confronted and motivated Stanwell employees in the South Burnett last year with his perspective on individual health.<\/p>\n

Many asked if their family and friends could also hear his message.<\/p>\n

Tarong Power Station & Meandu Mine decided to bring back the paramedic and trauma counsellor to deliver a free community session in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

Paul says the fact that 82 per cent of Australians will have a chronic illness by age 65 – and 68 per cent will be broke – should be a wake-up call to take our lives off remote control.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople who attended Paul Spinks\u2019 talk were very impressed by him and wanted him back to spread his health message to their families and friends,\u201d Tarong Power Station Manager Dennis Franklin said.<\/p>\n

\u201cFew people talk about health like Paul does and we are very pleased to give community members access to his experience and advice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stanwell Health, Safety and Environment General Manager Trevor Hooper said Paul’s talk contained practical advice that could be implemented immediately.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a result of Paul Spinks\u2019 talk we have received feedback from our people that they are making better choices regarding their health and we are excited to share this experience with the wider community,” Mr Hooper said.<\/p>\n
