Murgon rider Neil Collard will be competing in Rounds 1 and 2 of the annual Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) at Kilkivan this weekend.<\/p>\n

Neil, who began racing enduro bikes just three years ago, will be on board a new Yamaha YZ450FX motorbike after qualifying for the Pro class late last year.<\/p>\n

In 2015,\u00a0he came 11th in the 19 & Under Class at Kilkivan but he will be facing stiffer competition this year.<\/p>\n

The AORC is a national series raced across 12 rounds; Australia’s best Enduro riders take part.<\/p>\n

Last year’s Kilkivan rounds were won by Toby Price, who went on the win the Dakar Rally earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately Price won’t be back to defend his record but there will be plenty of other top-ranking riders taking part.<\/p>\n

This year, the Kilkivan weekend will also incorporate Round 2 of the Yamaha Qld 2-Day Enduro Championships.<\/p>\n

The racing will start at 8:00am on both Saturday and Sunday at the Kilkivan Bush Camping Park on Rossmore Road.<\/p>\n
