A new electric-powered examination bed has been installed at the South Burnett Private Hospital as a result of fund-raising from the inaugural South Burnett Mayoral Charity Breakfast and a generous donation from Swickers.<\/p>\n

The bed arrived last week and has already been utilised to its full potential in assisting patients, especially those with decreased mobility.<\/p>\n

The bed is able to be lowered close to the floor, and has electronic head and foot rest movement to assist patient comfort.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Private Hospital is one of the South Burnett Regional Council’s building assets, which means it is owned by the community,” South Burnett mayor Wayne Kratzmann said.<\/p>\n

“I proudly support the South Burnett Private Hospital. It is a 23-bed hospital that provides much-needed services, including specialist medical care, without the need to travel outside the South Burnett region.\u201d<\/p>\n
