Toowoomba Golden West and South Burnett Tourism marketing manager Geoff Thompson<\/strong> has resigned.<\/p>\n

Mr Thompson has spent six years at Toowoomba and Golden West Tourism, including a 12-month stint as acting CEO. He has held the Marketing Manager role for two years.<\/p>\n

His last day is May 2.<\/p>\n

In a short email to local tourism operators, Mr Thompson thanked them for their support over the years.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019d like to thank everyone who I have worked with over the years for your support, guidance, assistance and good humour, it has been truly appreciated,” he said.<\/p>\n

“I wish you all the very best with your future endeavours and look forward to seeing the continued growth and progression of the industry throughout the region, no doubt my path will cross with many of yours into the future.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
