On the first Saturday of every month, musicians young and old turn up to jam at the Hivesville Hotel.<\/p>\n

Publican Rob Brearley took over the hotel late last year, and was keen to add more music to the pub’s line-up.<\/p>\n

He brought in his “Kennel Jam Sessions”, which he has been involved with at other Queensland pubs.<\/p>\n

The sessions are open to everyone, no matter their experience. And all musical genres are welcome.<\/p>\n

Local bands such as Muddy Flats have been regulars, but musicians have also been travelling in from elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Drummer Vince Gee comes down from Bundaberg every month to take part.<\/p>\n

All lighting, PA equipment and other backline gear is provided. All musicians have to do is being along their own musical instrument.<\/p>\n

The Kennel Jams start at 5:00pm on the first Saturday of every month and run until late.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
