March 4, 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n

South Burnett Regional Council plans to start work on a project to widen the Blackbutt-Crows Nest Road on Monday (March 7).<\/p>\n

The work will take place between the Knaggs Court and Corcoran Road intersections.<\/p>\n

It will include widening and new bitumen to provide a two-lane sealed surface.<\/p>\n

There will also be improvements to the intersections at Ogilvie and Haynes Kite Millar roads.<\/p>\n

A Council spokesperson said the works would be staged to minimise disruption to local traffic.<\/p>\n

Traffic will be either controlled by stop\/go workers or by traffic lights, with minor delays to be expected.<\/p>\n
