The Blackbutt Memorial Hall will be the venue for a Mayoral and Division 2 candidates forum on Tuesday, March 8 so locals can meet the people vying to be their Divisional Councillor and Mayor<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

February 26, 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Candidates Forum for Mayoral and Division 2 candidates will be held in Blackbutt on Tuesday, March 8.<\/p>\n

After large attendances at recent forums organised by the Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and the Nanango Tourism and Development Association, the Blackbutt-Benarkin Community Council announced today they believe Blackbutt should have a forum, too.<\/p>\n

The event will be held at the Blackbutt Memorial Hall in Coulson Street, and will start at 6:00pm.<\/p>\n

All Mayoral and Division 2 candidates have been invited to speak.<\/p>\n

The format of the forum has yet to be announced.<\/p>\n

Admission will be free.<\/p>\n

A forum for Mayoral and Division 3, 4 and 6 candidates will also be held at St John’s Lutheran Hall at 84 Ivy Street in Kingaroy on Wednesday, March 9.<\/p>\n

And on Thursday, March 10, a forum for Mayoral and Division 6 candidates, organised by the Murgon Business and Development Association, will be held at the Murgon Services Club.<\/p>\n

Both will begin at 6:00pm.<\/p>\n
