The Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was despatched to Durong shortly after 10:00am on Friday after reports a young boy had fallen from a tree and injured himself.<\/p>\n

It is believed the child was playing on a private property when he climbed a tree and lost his footing, falling up to five metres.<\/p>\n

He suffered suspected spinal injuries as a result of the accident.<\/p>\n

The boy was treated by ambulance paramedics at the scene before being handed over to the CareFlight medical team.<\/p>\n

He was flown to the Lady Cilento Children\u2019s Hospital in Brisbane in a stable condition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
