You may have always thought your local coffee shop was the best, but there’s a new barista king in town.<\/p>\n

Donut King has just been named the nation\u2019s Coffee Shop of the Year in the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction awards.<\/p>\n

The award comes off the back of the group’s 2015 Canstar Blue win for Most Satisfied Customers.<\/p>\n

Donut King Kingaroy franchisee, Doug Fogg, said he wanted to thank his customers.<\/p>\n

“Our store focuses on creating a fun experience for our customers and we want to thank them for their support, as well as our entire in-store barista team for all their hard work,” Doug said.<\/p>\n

Doug believes the secret to the chain’s success boils down to great tasting coffee and delicious donuts.<\/p>\n

Donut King Managing Director Nicholas Brill said this is the first year Donut King has taken out the award.<\/p>\n

He said it showed customers perceive Donut King as a quality coffee shop.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s an honour to win this award and fantastic to see all the hard work from our baristas and franchisees being recognised,” Mr Brill said.<\/p>\n

“Donut King has been working tirelessly on customer satisfaction and enhancing the quality of our coffee through a dedication to barista training.<\/p>\n

“Our coffee is made from a unique blend of Royal Bean coffee beans roasted right here in Australia, and has been crafted to pair perfectly with donuts.”<\/p>\n

Donut King has been serving cinnamon donuts for more than 30 years and has evolved into Australia\u2019s largest speciality donut retailer.<\/p>\n

The Roy Morgan award recognises retailers that go the extra mile to satisfy and meet the needs of their customers and are leaders in their industry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
