Toowoomba Mayor Paul Antonio will face four challengers on March 19<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Toowoomba voters will have a smorgasbord of candidates to choose from on March 19.<\/p>\n

Toowoomba operates whole-of-shire elections, so all voters will be selecting a Mayor and 10 Councillor positions at the election.<\/p>\n

Five candidates – including current Mayor Paul Antonio – have nominated for the position of Mayor on the 2016-2020 Toowoomba Regional Council.<\/p>\n

And 31 candidates have put up their hand for the role of Councillor, including seven serving councillors: Nancy Sommerfield, Geoff McDonald, Mike Williams, Bill Cahill, Anne Glasheen, Carol Taylor and Chris Tait.<\/p>\n

Councillors Ros Scotney, John Gouldson and Sue Englart have announced they will be retiring at the March 19 poll.<\/p>\n
