{"id":13422,"date":"2012-10-15T15:32:31","date_gmt":"2012-10-15T05:32:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=13422"},"modified":"2024-04-17T19:11:40","modified_gmt":"2024-04-17T09:11:40","slug":"toddler-flown-for-treatment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2012\/10\/15\/toddler-flown-for-treatment\/","title":{"rendered":"Toddler Flown For Treatment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>October 15, 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The RACQ CareFlight rescue helicopter flew into Kingaroy Hospital this afternoon to airlift a 16-month-old girl suffering a serious airway infection. <\/p>\n<p>CareFlight Paramedic Jaye Newton said the toddler had been in hospital for several days before her health deteriorated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe intubated and ventilated the patient before airlifting her to the Royal Children&#8217;s Hospital,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had a pediatric team from the Royal Children\u2019s Hospital on board at the time of airlifting.
