January 30, 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n

A bizarre crash involving two parked cars occurred in Alford Street, Kingaroy, at the height of Friday afternoon’s thunderstorm.<\/p>\n

Witnesses told southburnett.com.au<\/strong> a white Mitsubishi being reversed out of a parking bay crashed at speed into the side of a parked car, pushing that vehicle into a third parked car.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred about 1:55pm.<\/p>\n

Ambulance paramedics treated two people at the scene.<\/p>\n

A police spokesman said a 78-year-old Kingaroy woman, who was driving the Mitsubishi, was taken to Kingaroy Hospital suffering shock.<\/p>\n

A 32-year-old woman from Gayndah, believed to have been sitting in the second vehicle, was taken to the same hospital with suspected whiplash injuries.<\/p>\n

All three vehicles were badly damaged, with the centre vehicle requiring towing.<\/p>\n
