The South Burnett is now officially the home of one of Australia’s top eight Nissan dealerships.<\/p>\n

Huston Nissan in Kingaroy was presented with a Global Nissan Award by the Nissan Motor Company today in recognition of its outstanding performance.<\/p>\n

Mr David Burlew, Executive General Manager of Nissan Australia’s Network Performance Business Unit, flew from Dandenong in Victoria to present the award to the Huston team in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

He was accompanied to Kingaroy by State Manager Jeff Bennett.<\/p>\n

The award recognises exceptional performance across all facets of a Nissan dealership\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n

It is the second major award Huston Nissan has won in the past few months.<\/p>\n

In June, Huston’s was awarded Platinum Nissan Dealership status after passing a gruelling series of tests that examined every facet of the business’s operations, from marketing through to after-sales service.<\/p>\n

These tests are so rigorous there are only four Platinum Dealerships between northern NSW and Cape York.<\/p>\n

Today’s award is a step higher, into what Mr Burlew described as “an exclusive worldwide club”.<\/p>\n

There are just eight Nissan dealerships in Australia at the Global Nissan Award level and Huston Nissan is one of only two in Queensland.<\/p>\n

Mr Burlew said winning a Nissan Global Award was recognition of hard work and evidence of high-level team performance.<\/p>\n

In fact, Nissan Australia CEO William Peffer Jnr has described it as joining a very exclusive circle of excellence.<\/p>\n

Mark Huston, who accepted the Award on behalf of his team, said he was thrilled Nissan had recognised his staff\u2019s great work.<\/p>\n

“Success in our industry requires dedication, hard work and a strong focus on customers. This award recognises each of these important elements,” Mr Huston said.<\/p>\n

He said Nissan had continued to go “from strength to strength” in Australia.<\/p>\n

“Nissan has recorded some its highest retail sales this year, including an all-time September sales record as a full importer,” Mr Huston said.<\/p>\n

“According to VFACTS, while the Australian new car industry has grown by around 9 per cent year to date,\u00a0Nissan has almost doubled this with a 16 per cent rise.”<\/p>\n

He said Nissan expected to fuel their sales climb with a series of new model releases over the next 18 months.<\/p>\n

“The company will be introducing more than a dozen new and updated models to its Australian new vehicle catalogue,” Mr Huston said.<\/p>\n

“When they do, we’ll be making them available to our South Burnett customers as quickly as possible.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
