South Burnett artists and craftspeople have been invited to take part in the Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery\u2019s Great Summer Sale and Auction next month.<\/p>\n

The Great Summer Sale will run from February 1 to February 27.<\/p>\n

Items submitted can include paintings, sculpture, ceramics and distinctive pieces of craftwork\u00a0 but must be the artist’s own work and not produced in a workshop.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They must also be less than five years old.<\/p>\n

There is a maximum of four pieces per person, and an entry fee of $5 per item.<\/p>\n

A 20 per cent commission fee from sales will go towards the Acquisition Fund of the South Burnett Regional Council Art Collection, which is based in the Gallery.<\/p>\n

The maximum size of any framed or free-standing work is 1m wide and 1.5m high.<\/p>\n

However, there will also be a People\u2019s Choice award for first, second and third with a total of $500 in prize money available to be run in conjunction with Summer Sale.<\/p>\n
