{"id":13237,"date":"2012-10-11T17:45:59","date_gmt":"2012-10-11T07:45:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=13237"},"modified":"2024-06-12T15:53:08","modified_gmt":"2024-06-12T05:53:08","slug":"man-charged-over-fatal-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2012\/10\/11\/man-charged-over-fatal-crash\/","title":{"rendered":"Man Charged Over Fatal Crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>October 11, 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Police have charged a 29-year-old man from Dingo following a fatal traffic crash that occurred at Booubyjan in August which killed two Toowoomba basketball players.<\/p>\n<p>Stephanie Mylonas, 20, and Stacey Richter, 21, from the\u00a0Toowoomba Mountaineers, were travelling back from a game in Bundaberg when they were killed in a head-on collision on the Burnett Highway\u00a0on\u00a0August 19.<\/p>\n<p>A 41-year-old woman, a 13-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy from the same vehicle were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the second vehicle has been charged with two counts of dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death and one count each of possession of dangerous drugs and driving whilst a relevant drug is present in blood or saliva.<\/p>\n<p>He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on November 8.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Police have charged a 29-year-old man from Dingo following a fatal traffic crash that occurred at Booubyjan in August.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[3,24],"tags":[25,76],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
