A motorbike rider was taken to hospital with minor injuries after an incident on the Kingaroy-Cooyar Road just north of Maidenwell on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Police believe a vehicle was stopped at the Tanduringie Creek bridge when the motorbike ran into the rear of it just before 10:00am.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old male rider was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.<\/p>\n

Nanango Police are investigating a series of break-ins or attempted break-ins at Maidenwell at the weekend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police\u00a0 believe two men attempted to break into the Maidenwell Hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

They were disturbed about 1:30am and then went across the road and attempted to pull a paling off the fence at the Maidenwell Trading Post.<\/p>\n

The pair then allegedly smashed a window in the Maidenwell Community Hall and opened a sliding door to gain entry to the building. Nothing is believed to have been stolen.<\/p>\n

They then drove away in a vehicle.<\/p>\n

Police investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n
