January 19, 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police are investigating a break-in which occurred at Goomeri Showgrounds sometime between January 7-17.<\/p>\n

Entry was gained by cutting a lock on a door and the thieves stole alcohol from inside a building.<\/p>\n

A similar offence occurred at the same location in June 2015.<\/p>\n

A police spokesman said due to improved security and evidence collected at the scene, police were hopeful of catching the people responsible.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information should contact Goomeri Police on (07) 4168-4211 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 1800-333-000<\/p>\n

Local residents have also been asked to keep vigilant in Goomeri and report any suspicious behavior in the area immediately to police.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
