Some of Australia’s top kickboxers will be coming to Kingaroy on February 13 for the South Burnett’s first pro-am kickboxing show.<\/p>\n

Kickboxing is a hybrid martial art combining traditional boxing skills with the high kicks from Muay Thai.<\/p>\n

The fighters coming include Liam Badger, the current World Association of Kickboxing Organisation (WAKO) Queensland champion who represented Australia at last year’s World Championships in Serbia.<\/p>\n

Liam will be fighting Rhys Lightning\u00a0 in a World Martial Arts Organisation (WMO) National A Class Title fight.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will also be female kickboxers on the program, with Amy Campbell and Chiqa Lovini-Jorgensen fighting five two minute rounds for a WMO National A Class title.<\/p>\n

Amy has also won a WAKO title during her career.<\/p>\n

Other fighters on the card include Kevin Lyon and Aaron Fuller.<\/p>\n

The night of kickboxing will be held at the Kingaroy Town Hall from 5:30pm on February 13.<\/p>\n

Tickets are $35 (general admission) or $50 (ringside) and are available from the Commercial Hotel and Karate4Kids in Kingaroy, Rapid Fitness in Nanango, or by calling 1300-854-542.<\/p>\n

An official after party will be held at the Commercial Hotel.<\/p>\n
