Former Kingaroy Red Ant Chris McQueen is coming back to Queensland, signing a two-year deal with the Gold Coast Titans.<\/p>\n

South Sydney rugby league club put out a statement on Friday saying\u00a0 it had agreed to release the forward from the final year of his playing contract to allow him the opportunity to further his NRL career.<\/p>\n

McQueen has played 116 first grade games for the Rabbitohs.<\/p>\n

He made his debut for the Club as a back in 2009, before shifting to the forwards where he gained selection for Queensland as a back-rower in 2013.<\/p>\n

Rabbitohs head coach Michael Maguire thanked the 28-year-old for his years of service to South Sydney.<\/p>\n

\u201cChris has been a valued member of this team for many years now and has brought a lot to us both on and off the field,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
