The Queensland Rural, Regional and Remote Women\u2019s Network (QRRRWN) is hosting four Christmas functions over the next fortnight to help raise funds for women affected by drought or hardship.<\/p>\n

QRRRWN CEO Angelique Ettia says the drought currently affecting about 86 per cent of the State makes Christmas a time to reflect on the resilience and resourcefulness of rural women and the integral part they play in their communities.<\/p>\n

“In the spirit of the season we are offering the opportunity to purchase the gift of QRRRWN membership which will be donated to a rural woman,” she said.<\/p>\n

“Drought has resulted in many of our members experiencing reduced income and increased costs, and we would like to show our support by continuing to connect, network and inspire those who inspire us in our communities”.<\/p>\n
