A 2.8km stretch of Hazeldean Road south of the Nanango Tarong Road intersection will be getting a makeover between early December and early February (Map: Google Maps)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Hazeldean Road in South Nanango will be getting a makeover during the next eight weeks.<\/p>\n

The South Burnett Regional Council has advised it will undertaking roadworks over a 2.8km section of the road from the Nanango Tarong Road intersection from today until early February 2016.<\/p>\n

The work is being funded by the Federal Government’s Roads To Recovery program, and was announced in the Council’s 2015-2016 Budget.<\/p>\n

The project includes widening the bitumen seal to provide a two lane sealed surface over an existing crest.<\/p>\n

It will involve clearing, earthworks, drainage, gravel pavement, bitumen sealing, line marking and signage.<\/p>\n

Traffic will be controlled by traffic controllers or by traffic lights during construction, and minor delays are anticipated.<\/p>\n
