Here\u2019s the fishing report for Bjelke-Petersen Dam for the week ending Monday, November 23:<\/p>\n

Bjelke-Petersen Dam (Yallakool)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

  • Dam Level = 45.9 per cent<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    “Fantastic” is the word for fishing this week with hundreds of fish caught throughout the dam!<\/p>\n

    Giant Golden Perch up to 54cm long have been the common catch in the dam with spinnerbaits being the main choice of lure used in about five metres of water.<\/p>\n

    Bass on Saturday were caught by the bucketload with perfect, warm conditions for them to school up and feed.<\/p>\n

    Using a sounder to find the bass was the key to most anglers\u2019 success for the weekend\u2019s fishing competition.<\/p>\n

    Redclaw are still scarce with the occasional few caught overnight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
