Kumbia Kindergarten\u2019s second Annual Charity Golf Day last Thursday was a resounding success.<\/p>\n

Rugby League all-star Allan “Alfie” Langer came to Kumbia as a special guest to support the event, generously donating his time to play with the teams.<\/p>\n

After the match, players were treated to a delicious buffet barbeque provided by Kumbia Hotel publicans Paul and Michele Doran.<\/p>\n

The couple also organised great prizes from Carlton United Brewery and local businesses Belvedere Peanuts and Ben\u2019s Beef Jerky.<\/p>\n

For the second year running, Stanwell Corporation also generously provided valuable sponsorship, and the Kindy looks set to have raised almost $2500 from the day.<\/p>\n

“We are always grateful for the support our Kindy receives from the community,” Kindy president Michele Doran said<\/p>\n

“Whether it\u2019s attending an event, volunteering time or donating a prize,they tell us it\u2019s because they know how much work we put into making the Kindy a success.<\/p>\n

“People are always happy to support that”.<\/p>\n
