day next Saturday, November 21, which is part of the club\u2019s new membership dive.<\/p>\n<p>Another is the Rosalie Fours competition in early December, which is always one of the club\u2019s major events for the year.<\/p>\n<p>The event was initially promoted by the Rosalie Shire Council and has continued to attract bowlers from South East Queensland.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_127138\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-127138\" style=\"width: 740px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/20151117-bowls1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-127138\" title=\"20151117-bowls1\" src=\"http:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/20151117-bowls1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"740\" height=\"460\" srcset=\"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/20151117-bowls1.jpg 620w, https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/20151117-bowls1-300x186.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 740px) 100vw, 740px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-127138\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Coaching course members Bev Profke, Sandra Currell, Robyn Diercke, Wayne Emms, Kev Profke, Alan Thorp, Brian Dugdell, Neil Johnston and Kerry Knowles (Photo: Jim Bond)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Nanango News<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Nanango staged a couple of championship matches last weekend and both games attracted quite a bit of interest. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The final of the B Grade singles championship between Josh Fisher and Trevor George drew gallery attention.<\/p>\n<p>Trevor got away to a flying lead of 14 to 6 after 12 ends.<\/p>\n<p>Josh then found his range and levelled the scores on the 18th end, before movinhg ahead to win the game 25-20.<\/p>\n<p>The Championship Mixed Fours match on Saturday also attracted gallery interest.<\/p>\n<p>Bob Hammond, Doris Drew, Delvin Powys and Warren Arthur defeated Brian Havell, Allan Wright, Sue Tucker and Glen Yeates 20-16.<\/p>\n<p>There were a couple of big scores in the Scroungers game on Friday, too.<\/p>\n<p>Lew Saunders (91) held off Greg Pogson (89) to take the honours.<\/p>\n<p>There was a good crowd on Tuesday for Trophy Day, with thirty-two players on the green.<\/p>\n<p>Two rinks of pairs and four rinks of triples were held, with each team playing two games of twelve ends.<\/p>\n<p>Scoring was one for the end and four for the win.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Briggette Kung. Jenny is now drawn to play Leigh Irwin next Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The Tuesday Jackpot, however, didn&#8217;t go off and rises to $406 &#8211; so there should be a full green next week!<\/p>\n<p>Why?
