“Dusty Day Out” is the South Burnett’s most popular boutique music festival … limited to just 400 people, and that includes the bands!<\/p>\n

It’s always booked out weeks in advance, and this year’s event – held on Saturday – was no exception.<\/p>\n

As patrons started arriving on Saturday morning at the Dusty Hill Estate at Moffatdale they were be greeted by live music already playing on stage, supplied by local singer Rowan Edwards.<\/p>\n

As the day progressed, the crowds got thicker and the music got louder, rocking the vineyards until past midnight.<\/p>\n

Performers include Thump, The Purple Hills, Bad Habits, one-man band Juzzie Smith, and well-known blues maestros Doc Span and Pop Standen.<\/p>\n

Many of the music fans came from the Sunshine Coast but buses also brought in local visitors from Murgon and Goomeri, and tourists staying at Yallakool and Barambah Bush Caravan Park.<\/p>\n

Many of the guests chose to camp overnight for free in the grounds so they could relax and enjoy everything the cellar door had to offer while enjoying the live music.<\/p>\n
