The official opening of the new Murgon Swimming Pool will be held on Saturday morning but that doesn’t mean lots of locals haven’t been having fun all this week.<\/p>\n

The pool opened to swimmers on Monday, just in time for the spell of warm weather.<\/p>\n

However, at 10:30am on Saturday, South Burnett mayor Wayne Kratzmann will unveil a commemorative plaque to officially open the facility at a free community party.<\/p>\n

There’ll be a morning tea and sausage sizzle lunch and fun activities organised by the Orcas swimming club, including swimming lessons and fitness classes.<\/p>\n

The Orcas will also be selling drinks and icy cups to raise money for their November swimming carnival.<\/p>\n
