October 15, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Wondai Race Club will be holding its annual Caulfield Cup race meeting – always one of its biggest meetings of the year – at the Wondai Racecourse in Cadell Street this Saturday, October 17.<\/p>\n

It will be a five race meeting and the first race will leave the barriers at 1:30pm.<\/p>\n

As usual, the meeting will feature an on-course TAB, live telecasts of interstate races, an undercover betting ring, barbecue and bar, as well as the Lady Luck Cocktail Bar.<\/p>\n

This meeting’s theme is “Colours Of Spring” and guests who dress to it can compete in the Fashions Of The Field competition for great prizes.<\/p>\n

Buses will be leaving the Fitzroy Hotel in Nanango at noon, the Kingaroy Hotel-Motel at 12:30pm, Proston\u2019s Golden Spurs Hotel at 11:30am, the Hivesville Hotel at 11:45am and the Murgon Newsagency at 12:30pm (phone 0402-715-242 to guarantee a seat).<\/p>\n

Gates will open at the track about noon and the feature race of the day – the Wondai Cup – will leave the barriers at 4:15pm.<\/p>\n
