The Campaign4Chloe<\/strong> fun day in Kingaroy on Saturday has raised an impressive $6296 to help provide for the youngster’s future needs.<\/p>\n

Chloe Blinco-Kregenbrink, 4, contracted a virus when she was just 18 months old which left her with severe nerve damage in her right leg. She can only walk with the aid of a crocodile walker and a special leg brace which has to be re-made at least twice a year.<\/p>\n

Mum Tracey told southburnett.com.au<\/strong> she was very grateful for all the support she had received during the fun day, which was held in the carpark outside Sunshine Mitre 10.<\/p>\n

The special stars were Australian drag racing champs Victor<\/strong> and Ben Bray<\/strong>, from Team Bray Racing, who brought along their “big red truck” and two supercharged drag cars for the fans.<\/p>\n

“It was a great day and heaps of fun,” Tracey said.<\/p>\n

“The Brays are lovely people and we really appreciate they could come up. They are so busy. They have to leave on Tuesday to get to Bathurst for next weekend.”<\/p>\n

Team Bray Racing had also been fund-raising for Chloe by selling raffle tickets in the lead-up to the fun day.<\/p>\n

Terry Mackrell, from the South Burnett Gas Guzzlers car club,\u00a0 brought over his red Ford hotrod, and the\u00a0 club presented Tracey with a cheque for $500. The Mackrell family topped this up with a personal donation of $400.<\/p>\n

Jason Mackrell also donated a 125cc Orion motorbike as a raffle prize.<\/p>\n

Tracey said she was overwhelmed with the generosity of local businesses who had donated raffle prizes and\/or services for the fun day.<\/p>\n

These included Harvey Norman (who donated a 117cm TV) and Sunshine Mitre 10.<\/p>\n
